Dat 8GB RX480. Perfect for skifree and roller coaster tycoon.
Ok well...
This is more like it. Who needs an RX480 when your graphics card has DIP switches? Diamond SpeedStar 24X 1MB ISA video card.

A little, though it’s not worth the small upgrade... sigh I wish they would release Vega already :(

Hold one of these in your hand. It’s stupidly heavy. I work for a computer manufacturer and modern graphics cards are so damn heavy we’re having issues with broken PCI-E slots on brand-new machines. I did four RMAs this week where they broke in shipping, and we even put a foam fill in the machine for transport to keep stuff from moving as much.

Well thats what happens when you have the high performance stuff that is likely heavy. Id say that either the folks driving the trucks shipping those parts were hitting large speed bumps or those broken ones were the few “lemons” that get produced off assembly lines.

I'm thinking about getting a 1070 to replace my r9 280x. This is not something I ever even considered.

I will go to 4gb sometime in the year. Using AMD Radeon R7 240 2gb and Forza 6 Apex is running fine even though its a tad below the minimum suggested system. I have another 8gb of ram to install and I hope that with the two upgrades I will be able to bump resolution past the low setting.

I’ve heard of some cases nowadays with special braces for video cards
